A: Certainly. Success isn’t always measured in numbers and metrics, like money or social media likes. Instead, it’s about doing what you love and feeling good while doing it. As entrepreneurs, we often let self-care slide; however, science now underscores the ancient wisdom that “all disease begins in the gut.” The gut-brain connection greatly influences how we feel throughout the day. If we don’t feel good, we can’t show up for others. Therefore, focusing on gut health and self-care is crucial for success.
Q: What can people do to be more mindful of their gut health, especially during busy workdays?
A: While I don’t sell products, I do love sharing useful tools to make health convenient. One powerful change is integrating mindfulness into everything you do. It’s crucial to know yourself, recognize habits, and make gradual, sustainable changes. For instance, if you’re stressed and in a constant “go” mode, your digestion suffers. To shift back into a restful state, take three deep breaths or use techniques like the 4-4-4 breath. In your choices, be mindful, opt for nutrient-dense convenience, and breathe to support digestion.
Q: What are the common obstacles you see with your clients, and how do you help them overcome them?
A: The most significant obstacles are often related to mindset and intention. First and foremost, you must believe change is possible. Next, dive deeper into your “why” – the real reasons you want to improve your health. Sometimes, it’s about seeking love, acceptance, or success. We work on making small, joyful shifts in habits, not deprivation. Ultimately, the healing journey starts in the mind, extends to the body, and reaches the soul.
